We bought a new house and after moving in, we found that half of our toilets and showers were backed up. My husband read the positive reviews here on Yelp and called Ambrose to come find the problem. It took most of the day and he ended up having to rip one of our toilets out, but he fixed the problem. I was worried that it was going to cost a fortune. When he gave me the bill I was SHOCKED! So much cheaper than I feared! He even left some epoxy for my husband to fix a leaky drain. -- so that I wouldn't have to pay to have him out again. I've never had a more honest person come and service something in my home. Ever. As long as I live in this area, Ambrose is the only plumber I will call for another plumbing problem.

If you are looking for a reliable, timely, professional and courteous plumber, you need to call Ambrose Plumbing. They returned my call within 10 mins of requesting an appointment and they were able to come to my house to fix the garbage disposal within a few hours. I called Ambrose plumbing a week ago because I needed help fixing a leaky spigot in my garage. After watching several overly complicated "how to fix your..." videos online and a having an underwhelming conversation with a hardware employee about my problem, I finally decided to throw in the towel and call an actual plumber. Mike was very thorough and quickly diagnosed the source of the leak by giving me instructions over the phone. I was happy to hear that he had the part I needed in stock and gave me a rather inexpensive quote What really blew me away though (the reason I was compelled to leave feedback) is that: the technician (Mike) was on time, he was courteous, installed the part quickly, and actually charged me less than I was quoted. Although my male ego was a little wounded that I called a plumber out for what appeared to be an easy fix, it was worth it to find a plumber that was affordable, trustworthy, knowledgeable, and reliable.

We had a plumbing emergency in the middle of the night on a Saturday (water pipe was running through a defunct water conditioner on which a valve burst - causing water to gush at full speed into crawl space - yikes and yuck). I will start this the way I would normally end a testimonial to get right to the point - you will not find a better plumber that does quality work for less money than any competitor who will complete the work exactly the way you want it and on time. Mike really is a diamond in the rough. He is not only an outstanding plumber, but he has done a great job with carpentry (laying tile and hard wood flooring, putting up and taking down walls, drywall, paneling, and trim work) and electrical (installing can lights, electrical outlets, and switches) work in my Naperville home as well. His work for me includes put in a complete bathroom in my basement where one did not exist, gut and completely remodel the master bath which is now like a spa, replace my hot water heater, replace my kitchen and bathroom fixtures, install new washing machine utility tub, install new faucets on the outside of my house that bring both hot and cold water, opened up my kitchen by removing a wall
